International Friendship Day @ Cedar
Our school celebrated International Friendship Day on the 21st of April. It was also "Express your Self Day", sow got to come to school in our casual clothes. Our class split into 4 groups and each group dressed in the same colour. Unfortunately, all the secondary one pupils could not attend the assembly as some pupils had "Hand Foot and Mouth Disease" and the school did not want the disease to spread to others so we did not go for recess or assembly with our seniors. During recess, our canteen uncles and aunties made very special food, especially for that occasion. The money that we paid for food or drinks were put into a donation box and the money will be given to Japan. After recess we still had lessons as per normal.

International Friendship Day @ Cedar
Our school celebrated international friendship day on the 21st of April. Even though we were not able to join the other levels in celebrating, it was still an enjoyable day. We learnt how to fold paper cranes and we also wrote our well wishes to the Japanese on the paper cranes. Thanks to the PowerPoint slides made, we have learnt more about ASEAN and also about International Friendship Day. But i hope that next year, International Friendship Day would be more interesting and fun.

Reflection on Theme and Group name.
Our group name is ' Polka.Doti-es. ' as all of us like polka dots. We find them interesting and also nice. So since our group name has something to do with polka dots, we decided that the theme of our blog should also have something to do with polka dots. Therefore, our theme for our blog is polka dots.

International Friendship Day @ Cedar
I had my celebration on International Friendship Day on 21st April. It was a enjoyable day as we have lots of activities to do. For example, folding paper cranes for the Japanese and writing well wishes in the crane. Although we are not able to join the other levels for celebration, we still enjoyed ourselves. We also learned a lot about International Friendship Day with the use of the Powerpoint slides. I hope next year's International Friendship Day will be much better.

Reflection on Theme and Group Name
Our group name is 'Polka Doties'. We decided on this name because in class, our sitting arrangement is scattered around the classroom, just like polka dots. Our group also likes Polka Dots. To make the group name more interesting, we used 'Doties' instead of 'Dots' in it. Our theme is also about Polka Dots, of course, and these Polka Dots are not connected, just like the sitting arrangement in class. I think that Polka Dots is indeed a suitable theme for our blog.

Reflection on Theme and Group Name
We came up with something to do with Polka dots as we find them interesting and attractive and it was one of our first and favourite choices. Our group name had to be something related to polka dots so our group name we came up with "Polka.Doti-es." Instead of Dots, we came up with doti-es as it was much more interesting and original. Our blog-skin is also related to polka dots. There are different coloured Polka-dots on the skin. I think that Polka dots for our theme is very suitable.
